About Us
Founded in 1895 as a fire brigade for Nine Dragons Paper Mill, originally the Grand Rapids Pulp & Paper Company, our department has grown alongside our expanding community. The Village of Biron was incorporated and in 1937, the Biron Volunteer Fire Department was officially formed. Today, we proudly serve over 75,000 residents across our local and neighboring communities.
Founded In 2021, we established the Biron Firefighters Association to bolster our efforts through dedicated fundraising, ensuring continued support for our vital services.
